workout motivation

I am in desperate need of workout motivation lately. After the holidays, moving, etc I can not seem to get going again. We are going to Seaside in April and I want to be skinner and more toned by the time we leave. I'm never going to change my diet so I rely on working out to be skinny. Rhianna's body at the Grammy's looked so good! Hopefully she will motivate me to really get back on Tracy Anderson asap.

poor cows

Since Monday I have been trying to do my own version of the Dr. Lipman Be Well cleanse. The only part I have really been successful with is cutting out sugar, dairy, and almost all caffeine. When I am done I plan on a diet of very limited caffine and sugar, but continuing to completely cut out dairy. Cheese and icecream will be hard, but I am very motivated after reading this article on Alicia Silverstone's blog. You have to read it when you get a chance.

regrouping

This last month or so has basically consisted of drinking,

eating,

more drinking,and more eating.
I actually ate this enormous pretzel (Nick had some too), a hot dog and ice cream at the Rangers game this weekend! I mean it came in a pizza box!
So the next few weeks I will not be doing any new posts. I have a super busy work schedule and am devoting my time off to catching up on sleep,

getting into healthy eating habits,

and finally finishing metamorphosis!

Hopefully by my next mimosa (OU/TX weekend) I will look and feel like this...

craving candy

I've pretty much come to the conclusion Mexican food, cupcakes, brunch, pizza, and most other carbs will never be eliminated from my diet. So I have tried to at least cut out all the candy. I have done really good for about 2 months, but lately all I think about is gummy bears, starburst, sour patch kids, and dots.
I don't know how much longer I can do it.

the kind life

I watched Food Inc about 3 months ago and it really didn't change my life the way I was hoping it would. The next morning I actually ended up eating a McDonald's sausage biscuit. But after watching Alicia Silverstone on Oprah I started visiting her website on a regular basis. I have decided I am really going to make efforts to change my diet. No immediate plans to become a vegan or even a vegetarian, but I am going to take steps toward a healthier eating habits by using her book.

Maybe its because I will always think of her as Cher, but she just motivates me.
