the wedding is still on...

About 2 weeks ago I really wanted to not do the whole wedding thing and just Nick and I go get married on the beach somewhere. It all overwhelms me and we (more me) were seriously considering it. Nothing I was finding really felt like me and was to "weddingish", but then my friend Thao told me about this Rachel Zoe dress. I tried it on, loved it, and felt like myself in it. So thanks to Thao the wedding is still on!

red??

I do not like anything red and I honestly don't own one thing that color. It has always been my least favorite color, but I have always wanted to find a good red lipstick. Just one that I could wear sometimes, maybe 10 times a year. Every shade I have ever tried on does not look good and I always end up buying another hot pink, baby pink, berry pink, sheer pink, etc. My friend Thao recently posted this and it sounds like the perfect color. I'm going to go try it on this week and I hope I look like one of these pictures.

the selby

My friend Thao has a really funny blog where she recently posted a picture from The Selby. This was the first I heard of this and I can't stop looking at it. Todd Selby is a photographer and illustrator who takes pictures of interesting people in their personal spaces. I love seeing how people live, so I find this website and book facinating. I love Julia Roitfeld, so I was excited to see her featured. Here are some pictures from her house.
